What I do know, ... recovery is a process of change through which an individual achieves improved health, well being and quality of life. It is a process that is not straightforward and does not happen overnight.

It is filled with difficult challenges, triumphant achievements, and more highs and lows than can be counted. It is crucial to understand what the steps are in the process of recovery. It's like having a roadmap or GPS in a car, it does not eliminate curves or road signs (or in our case, other sabotaging people), but having a plan, will make it a whole heck of a lot easier to keep your way and avoid getting lost
